We accept applications on a rolling basis throughout the year. Our application process is holistic and includes a family interview, academic readiness assessments, as well as behavior and community fit.

We know that each student contributes to our academic, social, and creative community in valuable and unique ways. Our admissions process is designed to help us get to know your child’s strengths and identify students who will help us build a student body rich in diversity and talent. One full of friends, leaders, scientists, artists, athletes, philosophers, and comedians.

We believe that it is important to expand our campus and community responsibly. Below you will find our plan for expanding our grade options:

Assessment

After receiving your application, we will invite you and your child to an interview and an age-appropriate assessment. This is to get to know your child and assess their academic readiness, so we can provide appropriate support or challenge should they be accepted.

Acceptance

If the fit is right, and we have places available, we will make a formal offer of enrollment. You will then need to confirm your child’s enrollment in writing.

RD American School does not impose ongoing building or development fees.

Do you offer any promotion for Founding students?

Yes! We’re grateful to our founding families for their trust, and we're pleased to offer a S$5,000 Flourish Founding Family Discount for families enrolling their children for the 2025-2026 Academic Year. This applies to every child enrolled from January 2026 through June 2026 and extends for each wonderful year they stay with us. For more details, view our School Fees.

Are there additional fees?

Yes, additional fees may be incurred for specific services, such as the English as an Additional Language (EAL) Support Program, transportation, meals, uniforms, and any applicable miscellaneous charges. For full details on additional fees, please view our School Fees section.

Do you accept mid-year enrolments?

Yes, RD American School accepts mid-year enrollments, subject to availability.

Does the school welcome students with particular learning support needs?

Students with learning support needs are considered for enrollment; however, our program may not be suitable for every child, and some children may have needs that exceed the scope of available resources. Admission for students requiring learning support or support services is considered on a case-by-case basis, with decisions guided by best practices and the child's best interests. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school before submitting your application.
