Jeffrey Bradley,
Head of School

Greetings from the Head of School

Welcome to RD American School,
In partnership with Riverdale Country School, RD American School begins a new chapter in world-class education in Singapore. Inspired by Riverdale’s founding vision of “scholarly, intimate teaching” and “abundant play in the open,” we have built a learning community where curiosity is nurtured, relationships matter, and purpose guides every step.
Here, learning is intentional and joyful. It is grounded in cognitive science, student development research and a deep respect for each child’s unique journey. Our spaces are alive with exploration and thoughtful dialogue, where students are seen, supported and challenged to grow into confident, compassionate learners.
We are building this school for families who care deeply about how their children learn and who they are becoming. At RD American School, we are not replicating what already exists. We are designing a school from the ground up around how children actually learn and how they flourish.
Echoing the words of Riverdale’s current Head of School:
"Riverdale is an extraordinary place relentlessly committed to helping students achieve the confidence, competence and commitment to make the world a better place. We know that when your community supports you, you are able to excel at levels beyond what you could imagine for yourself.”
As a Founding Family, you will help shape a values driven community where learning is rooted in purpose, character and bold ambition. This is schooling redesigned with heart, vision and a belief that education can be both rigorous and deeply human.
At RD American School, we carry that same spirit forward. Join us and imagine what is possible when your child learns in a place that puts flourishing first.
