A leading expert in translating cognitive science research into educational practice, Dr. Kevin Mattingly consults with private and public institutions on curriculum design and research-informed instructional approaches.
For over 30 years, he has worked with over forty schools on curriculum design, teaching strategies, assessment, and professional learning programs. Most recently, he worked with schools in China, Vietnam, Tanzania, and India incorporating best practice instructional and assessment strategies based on cognitive science research.
Dr. Mattingly is currently leading curriculum design and research-informed instructional approaches as Director of Co-curriculum at Riverdale School (NYC). Prior to that, he was dean of faculty and then director of teaching, learning and educational partnerships at the Lawrenceville School (NJ).
