MyPath: Personalized Learning
Distinctive Learning Journeys
Every child carries within them unique gifts, interests, and dreams. MyPath honors this individuality by creating a learning journey as distinctive as your child's fingerprint.

Grounded in brain science and deep care, our approach builds confidence, ownership, and a love of learning. Because when learners understand how they learn, they’re empowered to go even further.
MyPath:
A Clear Pathway
for Personalized Learning (option 1)
MyPath recognizes that a personalized learning journey needs the following core elements in order for your child to lead their own learning while cultivating deep, transferable understanding that sticks.
An Origin And A Destination
Where is your child's starting point in terms of academic and personal skills? What's your child's academic and personal ambitions? By connecting these 2 dots, we are able to chart out a map.
Charting Progress Organically
Organical progress is the best way to motivate children into self actualization. This means having a broad repetoire of methods to instrically and extrinsically ascertain their progress and motivate your child along their journey.

Holistic Goal Setting:
An Origin And A Destination
Through our 3 core pillars of goal setting, we can identify the start and end points of your child's educational path. This comprehensive approach creates an individualized and distinctive learning journey for your child that develops both their mind and character.
Personalized Academic Goals
Ensure your child masters essential knowledge and skills at their own pace
1. Customized Academic Targets
Our teachers design targets that:
Connect to our curriculum and meet all academic standards, while tailoring specifically to your child's strengths, interests, needs and learning style
Bridge the gap between core learning goals and your child's unique style, turning broad expectations into concrete, achievable steps that motivate and build confidence
Adjust according to your child's progress while giving them moderate agency in influencing them, inculcating motivation, long-term confidence, and a love of learning
2. Your Child's Reflection Journal
Your child learns to think about their own learning—what worked, what did not, and what they want to try next. Through reflection, your child builds the self-awareness, problem-solving abilities, self-advocacy, and ownership needed for lifelong success.
SMART Goals
Creating accountability and ownership
Family-School Partnership in Action
At RDAS, SMART (Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Relevant, and Time-bound) goals are created collaboratively between your child, you, and their teacher like a learning triangle, with each member setting a focused goal that supports their development.
These are short-term goals (typically 3 - 8 weeks) with clear metrics and deadlines based on academic or behavioral objectives. With your child setting personal goals, this gives them a very high level of agency that inculcates long-term goal-setting and ownership skills.

Child-Selected Goal:
Focuses on what motivates and interest them.
Example: I want to read one full chapter book about animals by myself in the next 3 weeks.
Teacher-Selected Goal:
Targets specific academic skills or classroom behaviors.
Example: By the end of the month, I will write three opinion paragraphs with a clear topic sentence, two supporting reasons, and a closing sentence.
Parent-Selected Goal:
Addresses routines, responsibilities, or habits at home.
Example: I will pack my school bag by myself every school night for the next 4 weeks, and use the checklist on the fridge to make sure I don't forget anything.

Feedback is ongoing and personal. We see assessment as a conversation, not a score.
It’s about understanding each child’s learning journey and celebrating their growth in real time.
Teachers' Observations
Rather than relying solely on tests, our teachers observe how learners think, create, and collaborate—whether they’re designing a science experiment, crafting a story, or working through a real-world math problem. You might find a teacher sitting beside a learner during a project, asking thoughtful questions or offering a new strategy to try.

Goals and Reflection
Students' Personal Goals and Reflection
Learners play an active role too. During learner-led conferences, they reflect on their learning, share their challenges, and set their own goals. Portfolios filled with journal entries, art, drafts, and reflections tell the story of their progress over time—not just what they know, but how they’ve grown.
360-Degree Feedback
We also use formative tools like learning check-ins, peer feedback, and self-assessments that help learners tune into their thinking and feel proud of their efforts.
Your child’s learning grows through a beautiful partnership between teachers, families, and students.

You play an active role—supporting goals at home, celebrating discoveries, and encouraging independence.

Through regular conversations, you stay connected and experience the joy of education done right.
